The Last Few Months

The past few months have been really busy for us and be has been changing and growing so fast! Here are a few of my favorite highlights!!!

This is Blair volunteering in childcare at our church! He is pushing Bea and three other children in the "Bye Bye Buggy"!! Bea loves this almost as much as she loves snack time!!!

We had a crazy freeze the end of January! It lasted more than a week! We had to really bundle Bea up to go out! She loved wearing her monkey hat and gloves!!

These are pictures of Bea at the park! Going to the park is one of her very favorite activities!


This is Bea one day before church! She is wearing a dress that one of my sweet friends brought her back from Italy!!!

This is Bea ready for her first swimming lesson! She loves every minute of swimming! She especially loves jumping in the pool!

This is Bea and her really good friend Reid at the Arbouretum! Bea is crazy about Reid and gets so excited everytime she sees him!! They are so cute!!!I am so proud to be Bea's mother! I love watching her grow and her personality develop more everyday! We are so blessed to have her for a daughter!

Bea's Christmas Party

Today we all went to Royal Oaks Country Club for a TCU alumni Christmas Party. Bea had her picture made with Santa!! She did pretty good, but had a few touch and go moments! Santa was really good with her and helped to calm her down. I think he was whispering to her what all she will be getting for Christmas! We had a really good time! We took the Santa pictures first and then we had cookies!!!! Some of the older children made gingerbread houses, with lots of purple and white accessories of course!!! I can't wait for next year! We will make a gingerbread house for sure!!! Christmas sure will be fun this year!!!

Bea's New Shoes!

Bea got her first pair of Nike's this weekend! She can run really fast in them! Her daddy is so proud of them! I know that he is going to have her signed up for triathalons before we know it!

Bea and Blair have found a new hobbie to do together! Of course it is bike riding! This is the way that Bea prefers to ride! It looks like she has got a good thing going!!

Bea's First Day of School!

Yesterday was Bea's first day of School!! She is going to a church school close to our house! She goes from 9:30-2:30 on Tuesday's and Thursday's! I was so nervous to take her. She had her bunny with her and when I handed her over to the teacher she did not cry at all!!! I had the best day! I can't even remember what it is like to have that many hours to myself!! I was excited to go pick her up. When I got there I looked into her classroom and she was happily playing with the other children! The teacher said that she had not cried even once!! I was so glad that she had a good day!! I think she is really going to enjoy her school!!! I know that I will!!!

It has finally been a year!! In some ways it has gone so fast, and in others it has been the longest year ever! We made it!! Bea is getting so big! She is growing every day. Finally at 11 months Bea got her first two teeth! I am certain that more are going to quickly follow! For Bea's first birthday we had a party at our home with family and a few good friends! It was so much fun! The kids played outside and then we went in for cake and ice cream! Bea seemed to really enjoy it! We were very lucky because all day we thought that it was going to rain. The sun came out just in time for the party! Bea is really on the move these days. She is in to everything and if there is something that she really wants, she always seems to find a way to get it! She is beginning to walk. The most steps that she has taken in a row so far is 12. I know it won't be long before she is walking everywhere!! We have also been enjoying taking her swimming! She seems to like it, and we think it is really fun!!

May has gone by so quick! Bea is now pulling up and standing all by herself! Her favorite game is peek-a-boo! She also loves to throw things and then say uh-oh. I feel like she has grown so much this month! She has lots of hair now and even wears a bow every now and then! It usually does not stay in for long though! She is more and more fun everyday!!
